About Us
The practice was started in Wivenhoe in 1992 by Osteopath Simon Bacon and later joined by his wife Thorunn. The practice has grown and developed and now also provides care throughout the colchester area with clinics in Lexden, Wivenhoe and within GP surgeries in Frinton and Clacton. There are seven practitioners within the practice providing a choice of both male and female clinicians. Patients are asked to book treatments by appointment only. Home visits are available but ideally treatments are best carried out within the clinics. For more information about home visits please speak to reception. The staff at the practice include one full time administrator/receptionist and three part time receptionists.
All our osteopathic practitioners are professionally registered with GOSc (General Osteopathic Council) and the physiotherapists with the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapists) and Health Professions Council (HPC). We accept referrals via insurance companies and are registered with all major health insurance providers.
